Frequently asked questions

Do primary and secondary teachers use the same base salary scale?

The current Ministry of Education agreements publish the same ten-step unified base salary amounts. Qualification-group labels differ between the primary and secondary agreements.

When did the 2026 teacher salary rates start?

The primary trained-teacher scale applies from 2 April 2026. The secondary trained-teacher scale applies from 28 January 2026.

Are management units and allowances included?
